Swinging with the Stars 2026

The Battlefords Healthcare Foundation is pleased to announce the purchase of a Vein Viewer Vision 2 for the Operating Room at Battlefords Union Hospital, made possible through funds raised at Swinging with the Stars 2026.

The Vein Viewer Vision 2 uses advanced near-infrared technology to assist healthcare teams in locating veins quickly and accurately, improving the IV start process for patients undergoing surgical care.

This technology:

• Makes IV starts easier, safer, and less painful

• Is essential for children, seniors, and patients with fragile or difficult-to-access veins

By reducing the need for multiple needle attempts, the Vein Viewer Vision 2 supports faster care with less discomfort, improving both patient experience and efficiency in the operating room.

Funds raised through Swinging with the Stars continue to directly support priority equipment needs at Battlefords Union Hospital, helping ensure high-quality care is available close to home.
