Meet Devyn Hope (Star)

Originally from Maidstone, Saskatchewan, Devyn Hope has proudly called North Battleford home for more than five years. As a hairstylist at Aurora Boutique, Devyn has built strong connections with her coworkers, clients, and the community she has grown to love.
For Devyn, Aurora Boutique is more than just a workplace. It's where she has found a second family and developed meaningful relationships with the people of the Battlefords. She loves the welcoming, inclusive community and enjoys getting involved whenever she can.
Devyn's decision to participate in Swinging with the Stars 2027 comes from her appreciation for local healthcare and her desire to step outside her comfort zone. With her sister working in Labour and Delivery at Battlefords Union Hospital, she understands the importance of supporting the healthcare professionals and services that care for our community.
As for her dance experience? Devyn admits she has very little! She briefly participated in dance while growing up in Maidstone before moving on to other sports. She also spent several years doing baton, continuing until she was around 12 years old.
While she may not have years of formal dance training, Devyn loves dancing whenever she gets the chance and is excited to learn something new, have fun, and embrace the challenge.
For Devyn, Swinging with the Stars is the perfect combination of community spirit, a little adventure, and an opportunity to support a hospital that means so much to the Battlefords.

Meet Jacy Worobec (Pro)

For Jacy Worobec, dance has been a lifelong passion. Growing up in Cut Knife, Saskatchewan, she began dancing at just three years old and entered the competitive dance world by the age of six.
Throughout her dance career, Jacy trained in nearly every genre, including tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, and pointe. In 2014, she moved to the Battlefords and continued her training at Dance Connection, where she eventually graduated as part of a successful competitive dance team.
Over the years, dance provided Jacy with incredible opportunities, lasting friendships, and experiences that helped shape her confidence, creativity, work ethic, and competitive spirit.
One of her proudest accomplishments came in 2019, when she was crowned Miss World Saskatchewan and competed at the Miss World Canada Nationals in Toronto, showcasing her love of dance during the talent portion of the competition.
Jacy also had the opportunity to return to her hometown of Cut Knife to teach dance for a year, sharing her passion with the next generation of dancers in the very community where her journey began.
Today, Jacy has traded her dance shoes for golf shoes as the co-owner of Threeputt Golf Co., a proudly female-owned golf apparel company based in Saskatchewan. Although her career has taken her in a different direction, dance continues to hold a special place in her heart.
Supporting local healthcare is especially meaningful to Jacy. With several family members and close friends working in Emergency Medical Services, she has seen the dedication, sacrifice, and compassion that go into caring for patients and communities.
For Jacy, Swinging with the Stars 2027 is an opportunity to return to the stage, reconnect with something she loves, and help raise funds for medical equipment that could make a life-changing difference for someone in need.
And when it comes to her dance partner, Devyn Hope, there's one thing everyone should know: these two are competitive!
With plenty of determination, energy, and a little sass, Jacy and Devyn are ready to put in the work, entertain the crowd, and hopefully bring home a win!
