Dearest Gentle Reader,
Within the treasured halls of the Battlefords Healthcare Foundation, where every heartbeat of hope echoes through acts of kindness, there stands a quietly courageous soul who has carried a mantle of great responsibility with grace and unwavering dedication. This month, we are delighted to shine our lantern on none other than JoAnne Iverson, our devoted Board Treasurer, who has faithfully served our community’s cause for six remarkable years.
JoAnne’s stewardship has been a beacon of trust and wisdom, guiding our financial compass through uncharted waters with precision and care. It is through her watchful eye and careful hands that every penny raised has been thoughtfully stewarded, ensuring that the promise of healing and hope reaches far beyond the walls of the hospital.
But what stirs the heart of JoAnne Iverson? What calls her to stand at the helm of such an important role? When asked why she chose to serve on the board, she shares with a gentle smile:
"I have always believed that true service is not only about giving but about being a steadfast guardian of the gifts entrusted to us. The Foundation supports the very fabric of our community’s health, and to be part of that sacred work, to protect and grow what we have, has been a privilege beyond measure."
For six years, JoAnne has balanced the delicate dance of numbers and narratives, budgeting and blessings, all while embodying the spirit of generosity that fuels our Foundation’s mission. Her work behind the scenes is a testament to the quiet power of dedication the kind that does not seek applause, but earns it nonetheless.
Dearest reader, as we journey forward, we carry with us the legacy of JoAnne’s service a legacy woven from diligence, integrity, and heartfelt commitment. We wish her well in all that lies ahead and look forward to welcoming her warmly at our upcoming events and affairs, where her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift.
Until next time,
Your Humble Scribe
