The Battlefords Healthcare Foundation is proud to launch our first annual Healthcare Heroes Appreciation Awards night a celebration dedicated to recognizing the remarkable individuals and teams who make a difference in healthcare every single day.
This special evening honors compassion, resilience, teamwork and the quiet acts of courage that shape the patient experience across our region. It marks the beginning of a yearly tradition where our community comes together to say,
“We see you. We appreciate you.”

Criteria:
✔ Demonstrates exceptional patient-centered care✔ Advocates for improved healthcare within our community

✔ Makes a meaningful impact on patients, families, or colleagues
✔ Contributes to innovation, safety, or quality improvement in care
Recognizes a nurse who exemplifies integrity, empathy, dedication, and outstanding clinical care.
Criteria:
✔ Provides exceptional nursing care and emotional support
✔ Advocates for patients and families
✔ Creates a positive, collaborative work environment
✔ Demonstrates leadership, mentorship, or innovation in practice
✔ Goes the extra mile to ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety
Celebrates a member of the allied health team who brings exceptional skill and heart to their role.
(Allied health includes lab, diagnostic imaging, therapies, EMS, mental health, pharmacy, dietary, environmental services, and more.)

✔ Demonstrates excellence and compassion in their specialty✔ Positively impacts patient care or patient experience
✔ Shows strong teamwork and collaboration
✔ Contributes to innovation, problem-solving, or service improvement✔ Enhances safety, accessibility, or quality of care
Honors a volunteer whose time, presence, and dedication make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients, families, and staff.
